A deal between the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe of Connecticut and Bragg Gaming Group has given players more choices in the Connecticut online gambling market. The state’s first online casino product, Spin Games, is a result of the company’s new entry.
Bragg Gaming was established in 2018 and acquired Spin Games in June.
“We are thrilled to enter a new, regulated iGaming marketplace in the U.S. as quickly after our acquisition of Spin Games,” Yaniv Sharif, Bragg Gaming CEO, stated in a company press release. Bragg Gaming has a unique platform that Spin Games provides, which Bragg plans to use to expand our presence in the North American market.
Bragg’s Fourth State
Bragg Gaming will enter Connecticut as the fourth state. It offers iGaming options for New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. The company plans to launch additional games from its Atomic Slot Lab lab, as well as third-party games in other regulated markets within the United States.
Spin Games, a wholly-owned B2B technology provider and content provider for Bragg Gaming has an initial library with 11 titles that Connecticut players can access via the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe or DraftKings iGaming websites. These include Ripley’s Big Wheel, and 21+3 Progressive Blackjack.
Bragg Gaming Group is a rising giant in the global gaming technology industry. Bragg has seen its operations expand internationally since it was founded in 2018. Bragg now serves markets in North America, Europe, and Latin America. Bragg’s subsidiary ORYX Gaming delivers online casino content via its remote server games (RGS), and ORYX hub distribution.
Bragg completed the acquisition of Spin Games by Bragg earlier this month, after securing access to Pennsylvania iGaming markets. It is currently expanding its reach in the US’ regulated iGaming marketplace by purchasing Spin Games. Spin Games holds important gaming licenses in the various U.S. States and is a Tier-1 supplier for operators in that region.
Bragg Gaming’s Reach Is Expanding
Bragg Gaming products are now available in four states that offer legal, regulated real-money online gaming. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut are the states that offer Spin Games options.
Bragg was also approved to join the Ontario online gaming market. This year, Bragg became the first Canadian province to offer legal online sports betting as well as iGaming.
Sherman stated that after our entry into the Ontario iGaming marketplace three months ago, our entry in Connecticut is an important proof point for our North American growth strategy. This strategy will accelerate as we launch our offerings to additional states as they enact regulations.
Bragg intends to add to the current 11 games in Connecticut, according to the release.
Bragg has also been granted licenses to operate within several European countries including the UK and the Bahamas.
