Despite recent developments, people in the United States still have limited access to popular European slots. The newest step toward that goal is a new DraftKings-White Hat Studios collaboration. In a nutshell, the collaboration allows DraftKings users in five states to play White Hat games. This also puts DraftKings’ gaming services on par with its rivals.
White Hat Studios Expands with DraftKings
According to a Tuesday press release, white Hat will deliver its unique online casino content to DraftKings. There are various slot games, some with progressive jackpots and table games.
Deal or No Deal and Ted are two of White Hat’s most well-known content. In five active markets, players at DraftKingsCasino should be able to access those and other titles soon. They are:
- New Jersey
- West Virginia
It isn’t White Hat’s first collaboration with a US iGaming licensee. White Hat has signed similar agreements with BetMGM, FanDuel, and Tipico in the US market since May.
As a result, players in four countries already have access to White Hat games through online casinos. DraftKings gives them another method to gamble on those fantasies like their competitors.
The wait, on the other hand, continues for players in the fifth market. Whether or not DraftKings will offer White Hat in the country’s gambling market is unclear.
Is It Possible That Draftkings will Launch White Hat in Michigan?
The news release states that none of White Hat’s current partners offer its games in Michigan. That is a very good question. The answer to that issue will be revealed in due course, but it does not appear to promise whether or not DraftKings will change it.
The news of the Golden Nugget’s release does not specify whether DraftKings will keep White Hat material for its own branded online gaming product or if it will also distribute the content on its own licensed online gambling site.
Golden Nugget Online Gaming was purchased by DraftKings about a month ago. So far, DraftKings has avoided making public comments about its plans for these iGaming platforms.
This offer suggests that DraftKings has no intention of making its online casino service an afterthought. It could even be the first in Michigan to provide White Hat games, considered fairer than Black Hat games.
White Hat Studios CEO Andy Whitworth
It’s a major step for the firm as it looks to increase its content available in the United States by teaming up with DraftKings. While it may still be a long way from being a major business, IG is gradually becoming a feasible vertical, and while it is present in fewer states than sports betting, it is beginning to grow. For example, the state of New York is discussing the potential passage of a more comprehensive gambling law that would allow internet gambling. In New York, DraftKings is already accessible. In addition, slot Factory recently linked a partnership with White Hat Gaming.
