Rush Street Interactive, the company behind popular online gambling sites like PlaySugarHouse and BetRivers, has announced a rebranding effort that will see the PlaySugarHouse name replaced with BetRivers Online Casino and Sportsbook in New Jersey. According to company officials, the change is designed to lessen confusion between the two brands, which offer similar products and services.
The BetRivers name has already been adopted by Rush Street Interactive’s sports betting operations and may soon retire the SugarHouse brand, and the company plans to roll out the change across its other markets in the coming months.
However, the functionality of the app is just the same, with no changes in terms of the features. The name change is just to lessen the confusion and focuses on a single brand. Customers who have already signed up for accounts with PlaySugarHouse will be able to continue using them without any need to create new ones.

BetRivers Sportsbook is now available in New Jersey! With the BetRivers app, you can place bets on your favorite sports teams, including football, basketball, baseball, and more.
